Cruise and a Purse

I had a dream last night that Josh and I were on a cruise, but it wasn't vacation. It was as if we lived there. We were used to being on the boat, so it wasn't really exciting... just normal.

Later on I was dreaming of purses. There were all kinds. The 3 that I was mostly interested in were very bright colors, something like Rainbow Bright would carry. They were in the shape of the Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, but they were a plastic material- like the puffy plastic. One was purple, with a pink puffy star on one side, with blue and green "tails" as if it were a comet. Another one had orange, pink, and white stripes. The third one was mostly pink. Dad was going to buy me the purse, but I didn't tell him how much it cost. When he went to ring it up, they told him it was $98 and he was kind of taken by surprise. I pretended like I didn't know how much it cost, but then he bought it anyway. Josh then showed up and tried to convince me to get a more "neutral" colored purse. Just to appease him, I looked at some tan and brown colored purses. They were really pretty, and much more grown up. I was almost about to change my mind (and return my Dad's purse) because I thought this tan purse could be worn strapped across my chest instead of hanging off my shoulder. I also saw that it was only $90 so I would get eight dollars back! But when I went to open the purse to see what the inside pockets looked like... it was as if it were now a piece of luggage- it unzipped down the front and had lots of little compartments. Then the weirdest thing of all... it was clear! No longer was I holding a tan purse- it was clear. Needless to say, I stuck with my orange/pink/ white puffy plastic purse.

Getting in Trouble

Stacey and I were out in the front yard. I didn't recognize the house, but in my dream it was mine. It looked like a house that might live in Hillcrest (area of Little Rock). It was at an intersection with another street, so there was a stop sign in the corner of the yard. It wasn't too busy of a road, but there was one car in particular that I remember. I was wearing a teeny tiny little skirt, and each time I would go to pick a flower out of the flower bed, this nasty old man in small beat up car would back up (away from the stop sign) in my direction as if he were trying to get a look under my skirt. Well I'd had enough of that- I found a pizza box and hiked it up over my skirt. There! That cardboard was big and ugly, and he wasn't getting ANY view of anything! So a bit later on in the dream (still wearing the cardboard), Stacey and I were on a porch, like the one from the house in "The Notebook" that Noah built. We were going to pick something up and we were kidnapped. I don't remember what happened after that.

Suz & I pregnant??

I dreamt that Suz bought a beautiful new green dress. She didn't say that it was for any special occasion, but it sure did look fancy. Later on that day, She, John, Josh and I were all out to dinner. She was just beaming the entire time. Halfway through dinner, she told us that she had indeed bought that green dress for a special occasion, but she just couldn't wait any longer... she said "I am pregnant, again!" Now, in real life, Suz doesn't even have one kid yet, but in my dream it made total sense that she was saying again. She informed us that the first baby was due in September, and the next was due in June. I know the math doesn't add up, but in my dream it was right. We were all so so so excited for her!

The next dream was about me. I was at school, and I was talking to the school counsler about girls in veterinary school that decide to have babies. I was asking her if they were happy with their decision and if they had any pointers for me- apparently Josh and I were considering this. ONLY in dreamland.....

The Hunt for the Statue of Liberty!

I had a dream last night that I was in New York. I was with my friend, Chad, and we were trying to find our way to the Statue of Liberty. We kept getting lost, especially on Heinz St. and Hartz St.. I saw so many different kinds of pretty buildings, and I kept pausing by them to take my picture but they were too tall and only part of me or part of the building would fit in. I remember one building that was red and brown and looked like it belonged in India. Then we looked down below us and saw a hot dog stand. Chad really wanted a hot dog, so we had to go back the opposite direction and through a tunnel to get to the hot dog/ souvenir stand. Then we kept going, and crossed a bunch of streets. I remember the white "Walk" signs and then got scared when they turned to the orange "don't walk" when I was in the middle of the intersection. We came across a swingset and I wanted to swing. I kept going higher and higher, but I didn't really want to go that high. Eventually I had too much centrifugal force, and I went a full 360 degrees around the bar. I had to throw my legs down to stop- that was even scarier than doing a full circle! Then Stacey and I were taking a tour through our bus drivers house (don't know when we rode the bus). Stacey got mad at me b/c I told her I'd meet her at the end of the tour and wouldn't go through the house. I wouldn't go through it because there were cobwebs everywhere! Gross! I even had to step of a spider web to get up the hill where I was going to wait for Stacey. I even saw a black widow spider in one web. Then we got to another room and our toxicology professor was there, giving us a pharmacology test. But all the tests from the students before us were still out! I picked on up- noticed it had at least 199 questions, and most of them weren't filled out. I guess this person quit. We handed them to the teacher and left. I guess we'd get our copy later on. Then we stepped outside and there it was!! The Statue of Liberty!! We finally found it!!

Snake and Lead Poisoning

There was a huge snake in a small pool of water. He kept trying to bite at me so finally I grabbed his tail and stuck it in his mouth. Then he started eating himself. At this point, I found a BIG blue book and opened it up, placed the seam of the book near the snakes back and closed him up in the book. Then I threw it over a cliff and watched him fall.

At the same time, but not the same time... we were all battling lead poinsoning, but no one knew how to cure us.
