Ugh. I had a dream that a gray cat got hit by a car, separated it's mandible, and was resisting treatment. It wasn't Tini (I don't think) but it was sad/scary enough.

Ugly Watch for Josh

I was having a TERRIBLE dream about picking out a watch for Josh (as if it were to be a Christmas gift from my mom and dad). I kept telling them Josh didn't want one with the leather band and metal, but they weren't understanding why Josh wouldnt like that!

All over the place...

I was at a Halloween party. For some part of the night it was at a mall, but then we were at a basketball gym, and then it was basketball courts that were made out of ice... like ice basketball. Some little kids were even jumping on a trampoline under the basket and diving head first into the basket and rolling themselves around in the net.... weird. So anyway, I don't know what we were for halloween, but there were 4 of us. We were all wearing wigs. One blue wispy hair wig, one blonde wig buffont style (my wig), one braided wig (Jamaican style) and one afro wig. I got lots of comments on my wig, so I sported it with pride. When I made my way to the basketball gym part of the party, I remembered that I had to take a test! I went to pick up my packet of test stuff, and it was HUGE! The first year packet was so tiny. They were finishing in no time and going back to partying.... mine was taking me forever. Then one of the 2nd years came back from her ultrasound... she was going to give birth to an ant. She said she was going to tape herself closed so she wouldn't have it.

Someone PLEASE telll me what this one means?!

Tini Got Hurt

I had a scary dream about Tini last night. I noticed that she was walking funny, but I didn't see any obvious injury on her. Then I was going to the kitchen to get something... don't know what, and I noticed that there was a hole in the marble countertop. Oh my! Something put a hole in the marble, so you KNOW that had to hurt. Well, my mind immediately jumped to Tini so I went to check on her.... I still didn't see anything, so I knew I had to look harder. I began to separate her fur (in my dream, her fur was much longer) and then I saw it!! Both of her knee caps had been split open, and you could see where her patellar ligaments were split in two! AHH!

Wedding Band Repair

I had a dream last night that I had to have my engagement ring repaired. I was needing to have the seam re-soldered, and I knew the jewler would do a great job, buuuut when I went to pick it up.. it looked like they put a chip of white gold over the seam... fired it for a bit... and left the blob! They didn't even smooth it all out. UGH!

Anthropologie Dresses for a Rehearsal Dinner

Shelly, Mom and I were shopping in anthropologie. We were trying on all kidnds of dresses and scarves, mine was a 50's style half magenta/ half purple dress. Shelly had on a green dress with big bunches of flowers in it. Mom had a prettly little gray thing, and then Shelly says "oh Lindy, that will be perfect for the rehearsal dinner!" Mom agreed! So it turns, out we were all shopping for new dresses for Shelly's rehearsal dinner!! I don't know who the groom was though!

Theifs

Leia and I were in a convenience store. We decided that we wanted to steal a bunch of popcorn. We see a truck that looks like those trucks that carry window panes... not mysterious at all.... and we loaded all the popcorn we could fit, onto this truck. We sped off down the street and pulled into a gas station that Leia's mom owned. We ran in and decided to hide all the popcorn in the empty freezers in the back. Once we had it all unloaded, Leia said "uh oh... we'll never get it back now. Anything that goes in the freezer belongs to my mom..." So we did all that for NOTHING!

Rainbow Nailpolish & A Flood

I dreamt that I found some nail polish in the store, but it wasn't like any other polish I've ever had. In the bottle, it was layered in rainbow colors (like colored sand in a bottle). The coolest thing was when you began to paint your nails, the colors would brush on in the rainbow order. One nail would be red at the base, orange in the middle, and yellow at the tip. The next nail would be yellow at the base, green in the middle, and blue at the tip, you get the idea. It was pretty cool. The last nail was purple, a dark purple, which was a bummer. It was like I had mixed the colors together with each dip of the brush into the bottle. This also meant that the bottle was not separated anymore so I wouldn't ever have any rainbow nails anymore.

There was also a huge flood. I don't know where the water came from, and I don't know where it went. I only knew there was a flood because the ground was wet and squishy, and the blades of grass were all flattened to the same direction as if they had been following the current.

Tini was outside

I remember watching Tini play outside in the yard. I was turning the corner of the apartment complex, and I thought to myself "She'll follow me, like a dog would." But then she didn't. I didn't get worried about her; I knew she'd find her way home.

Tornado in the City & 3 Weddings

Stacey and I, along with a bunch of other people were studying for a test, and we had our notes spread ALL over the place. She had gone down the hall to use the restroom when I looked out the window of the skycraper hotel we were in to notice 5 tornados. They were all HUGE, but one was especially scary b/c it was moving SO fast. I grabbed a comforter off of the bed and yelled "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" I took the comforter and ran into the closet to find better protection. I sat down and then realized that Stacey wouldn't know where I was, so I ran out of the closet to find her to bring her back to the closet with me. But of course, she had a different idea. She thought too much air would rush under the door and through the cracks, but when I mentioned to here that there was only one small window in the closet vs. the whole wall of windows outside of the closet, she agreed. Once we were inside the closet, I was instructing us to cover ourselves with the blanket. Stacey did so, but then she also stuck her feet between the crack in the door and the floor (I guess to stop the air?!?!). I told her that wasn't a good idea b/c she might lose a foot. She agreed and quickly unhinged her foot. Then we waited. We felt the building begin to shake and it was picked up and turned 4 times before it was sat back down. I was so worried about my notes... did they survive?! Was I going to have to get all new notes?! Would they cancel school!?! So after the tornado was over, I was all the sudden back in Arkansas. Mom owned a store there, so I went to visit and everyone was feeling sorry for me and the tests and the tornado.

I was on my way to attend some weddings downtown when I realized there were 3 weddings going on at one time, and I was invited to all 3. My sister was going to one of my ZTA sisters weddings which was upstairs to my other ZTA sister's wedding. I decided to go to the downstairs wedding. As I start walking (skipping) down the stairs, I notice it was a different friend than I thought!! Same name, just different girl! But I had such momentum going down the stairs I couldn't stop, which was unfortunate b/c this stairway was uncompleted and it dropped off with about 15 steps left to go. I landed really hard and thought I probably broke something, but then I got up and was fine! I found mom and Shel at the upstairs wedding and wore a purple pansey in my hair.

Another cut thumb....

I had a dream last night that I was hanging out with a group of friends and some random guys. This girl I went to elementary school came over, and she was holding a cat (that looked strikingly similar to Garfield). I ooohed and awwed over the cute kitty cat, and asked her if he was nice... would he try to eat me... the usual questions you ask before you hold a strange cat. She said no and placed the cat on my lap. The cat then lashed around and chomped on my right hand. Sure enough... I had a HUGE laceration on my thumb. I decided I couldn't go to the hospital to have it sutured up, so I would just have Crystal do it. I asked Crystal to come with me to find some suture... I was certain I had some in my car. Once we learned that I didn't have any suture material in my car, she said "Follow me over here, I'm pretty sure my brother left some in this cabinet". Sure enough... he did! I found some PDS (but it was too big for my thumb) and some Maxon... juuuust right. I asked Crystal if she was ready to suture, but then she explained to me that she didn't know how to suture. NO! I would have to do it myself. Well, I'm right-handed so it was going to be tough suturing left handed, but I figured if I had Crystal to help me tie the knots it would be ok. I got ready to stick myself... then I woke up.

Obama again?

I had ANOTHER dream that I was voting for Obama. I don't remember any more about it....

Obama '08?

I had a dream last night that I was going to my voting booth, and had decided I was going to vote for Obama. I was happy with my decision, but was a bit sad that I jumped on the band-wagon so late that I didn't get to boast "Obama '08" all summer long.

Cut thumb

I had a dream that I cut my thump open on something and I was asking Josh to suture it closed for me. He seems willing to help, but unsure how to suture. I finally decided I would just do it myself..... don't know how it ended though.

Wedding & Robbery & a fire

bI had a dream I was at a friends wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and it was coming to a close. I told everyone good bye and headed to my car with my family (this was a pre-Josh family...so just mom, dad, me and Shel). We headed home and drove the long way down El Dorado. As we pulled into the driveway (the one furthest from Hinson), we saw a police car in the driveway. I guess we knew about it in my dream b/c it didn't seem odd. So dad said "Lindy, hop out and go make sure he's out of the way..." meaning, go inside and tell him to leave. Instead of parking the car behind the police car, dad pulled into the lawn and drove around him to park in the middle of the circle. So I get inside (while everyone else is still in the car) and I'm going up the front stairs saying "Hello?" "Hellooooo?" I get upstairs and find the officer in dad's office. I ask him if he found anything (what were we looking for?!?), and he said no. I followed him downstairs to lead him out, just as everyone was coming in the back door and heading up the back stairs. As he was reaching the door, and I was on the bottom step, he turned around and had a red straw looking thing. I didn't think anything of it, until he brought it to his mouth and blew. I relized then it was a blow dart. He blew it into my neck and I tried to scream for help, but I was already paralyzed. Everyone was upstairs and couldn't even hear me. I tried to yell "I've been blow darted" but it was no use. I remember getting a ll fuzzy in my dream and feeling like I really was drugged. Then I saw him reload another "red straw" and dart my dad. I was still lying on the bottom stair in the front hall when I saw him take my dad to the kitchen and set him in a kitchen chair... I managed to drag myself through the dining room so I could see into the kitchen. I saw a blonde haired ghost with a blue dress on floating through the kitchen and just when I was thinking she was real and she was going to save me.... the cop came flying "through" her (b/c he saw that I had moved) and came to re-evaluate me. I pretended to be super drugged so he wouldn't hurt me, but I saw him get out another dart. Before he was able to blow it I reached up and punched him. We got into a huge fight (I have no idea where my energy came from) and I kept hitting his chin with the palm of my hand. Then I was able to drag him outside (making sure his head bumped on the stairs on the porch) and then I flung him on the car and then onto some trees. The last thing I saw was half of his brain in the garden in our front yard.

In another dream, I remember I saw a friend from elementary school walking to his house with a basket of laundry. When he got to his "house" he noticed that all it was was a big square patch of land that had been burned. His house had burned down and he didn't even know it. I shouted out "what happened" and he just shrugged his shoulders, dropped the laundry, and ran away.

Promise Ring

I had a dream last night that someone ;) gave Shelly a promise ring. She came home to El Dorado in a white limo, picked up Dixie outside and brought her to me inside. She had a ring on her finger but she weren't acting excited. Mom took this guy into the kitchen and I asked about the ring and she told me it was a promise ring!

An old cheer team

I had a dream last night that I was going to cheer with a new squad. Their colors were kelly green and white, just like my junior high. I was going to wear my cheer uniform from my old junior high even though I knew I wouldn't match, but the colors would at least be the same. So as soon as I show up I realize that my old junior high is there too. ("There" being on a hill outside in a pasture). I still didn't match, because they were wearing a different uniform than me. It was still fun though!

Pink Tupperware

I was grocery shopping with Josh, and I was looking for tupperware. One of those center isles (where you'd find some lunch meats, cheeses, and bags of chicken breasts) was FULL of tupperware. The isle was split into thirds and one third was tupperware with black lids, one third had blue lids, and the last third had pink lids. The pink lided tupperware was on sale for .99 cents each! Awesome! I looked inside to find the tupperware had one large compartment and two smaller compartments. I bought two.

A purse

I had a dream about a purse last night. It was gorgeous! It had different patches of material, very large patches (like 3 patches on one side of the purse, and 3 patches on the other side). The patches were a black canvas, a black patent leather, and a kahki with white/ red very small floral print. It was kind of in the shape of a taco shell except instead of the half-moon shape of a taco shell it was a rectangle (it had the rounded bottom of a taco shell). The sides of the rectangle taco shell zipped up with very chunky brass/bronze colored hardware. The top of the purse didn't close, but snapped shut with what looked like big bronze bangles you'd wear on your wrist.

Pregnant

I had a dream last night that I was pregnant. I asked Suz to go with me to get a pregnancy test, and I took it right then. It came out positive, and I started to cry. I cried and cried about how I'll never finish vet school. I may have even been crying in real life.

Later on, I was at a BBQ at someones house. I looked around the table, and I noticed I was with all of Shelly's friends from high school.

PHJH & Central Cheer

I had a dream I was asked to help the PHJH cheerleaders learn how to "spell it out." I got in my attic and retrieved my old uniform, put it on, and set out for Hillcrest. (for some reason we were not teaching "spell it out" at the school, but rather at some building in Hillcrest.) I remember picking up the green/silver shiney pom poms and starting to explain what to do. It was a lot of fun! After that, I had to do the same at Central. But I didn't like the uniform I had to wear for the Central "spell it out." I never liked that one, that has the little 'v' at the tummy..... my torso is too long and would always show part of my tummy!

Choda Bear

In my dream it was christmas time. it was me and Choda Bear. We were in a bunk bed cuddling. Stacey came in to the room to take him away, and Bear didnt want to go! I remember a ballerina tutu, but I dont know how that fits in...

Vacation, TVs, PHJH game

I had a dream last night that Anna Eberle and I were vacationing at the same spot Josh and I honeymooned. It was so much fun. We were parasailing and bungeeing from this crazy parachute. There were some very dark objects in the water beneath us, we though they were sharks, but no one would take us serously. I remember running on the sand and jumping over some crazy kinds of fish... shark fish... I remember it was time for us to go home, and I had my bags all packed, but Anna told me that she changed her flight info so she could get her hair done. Her new ticket only cost $30! I said cool! lets do mine! but the concierge wasn't being so friendly with me.

I was in a supermarket (very wal-mart like), and Josh and I were walking up and down the isles. I stopped to look at TVs.... but they only had the old-fashioned huge kind, not flat screen, but these were at flat screen prices! AH! Josh informed me we weren't shopping for a computer anyway.

Then I was back in the Pulaski Heights Junior High auditorium.... but it wasn't PHJH in my dream, it just looked like it. It was like a pep rally; Some kids were in their seats (I remember seeing my sororiety sisters out there) but a bunch of people were up on the stage, too. I was one of the ones on the stage. Everyone on the stage was involved in some sort of game, and I had to dance around all funny - so I bent over and started shaking my booty funny. We were all given little pieces of paper with a number on it. We had to sit down before it actually "started" and at the last second my paper was switched, but I never actually got the new paper. Someone gave the green light for the game to start and off everyone went. Except for me. I didn't know my new number. I only knew I was Russia (what?) so I ran around looking for someone in the audience that was also Russia. Towards the end of the game I noticed an older woman taking score. I was going to be too late!! I finally found the girl that I thought switched with me.... but she only told me I was Russia... I already KNEW that! Then I found the real switcher and she informed me that my piece of paper said "8". Now I know what I'm looking for!! I ran into the audience and found my matching 8.

A Fall-Out with a Friend

I had a dream last night that I threw a shower for Suzanne and she didn't like the drink options. I don't remember what the options were or what she said, but I remember her being very upset. We argued, and she informed me that we couldn't be friends anymore. I remember looking at her dad, and he was just smiiiiiiiling... as if he were happy about this!! NOOOOOO!

Tornado on El Dorado

I had a dream that we were all stuck inside my parent home on El Dorado, because there was a nasty tornado ripping through the area. I went to the front window in the dining room to get a good look; just as I did, this tall skinny gray funnel came roaring down my street!!! It was the tornado! AH!! I looked down the driveway to see if it was going to get my car and my DAD was getting his golf shoes out of the car!! He wasn't afraid of the tornado at all. As the tornado hit the end of El Dorado, it made a U-turn and headed back up Portland. Crazy. We all went back inside and we were asking if everyone saw it all... Shelly was looking out the back window onto Henson so she missed all of it. I began to tell the story of how it roared down El Dorado, then Dad cut me off and said "you forgot to tell about how it went back up Portland," which I had NOT forgotten to tell... I just wansn't there yet.

In my next dream I was making tuna fish salad. I was sitting by the window near the piano in my parents home, stirring it all together when I realized I wanted to put more in here. So I ran up the stairs to get my celery. When I came out of the bedroom and was about to head downstairs, I saw that Shelly was sprawled out on the bottom step "See if you can fly over me" she said. I didn't play the game though, because people were hungry for my salad. So I cut up the celery (which in my dream looked more like pineapple wedges but they were still green) and threw them in. Then I wanted to put bacon bits in (what???). It was turning out to be a VERY colorful dish! And finally- I put ricotta cheese in. This ruined it all. Everything was white, and it didn't look like tuna salad anymore. I was pretty dissapointed.

Ice for Mrs. Tamas

I had a dream that I was supposed to bring ice (like in a bag) to Mrs. Tamas. They didn't live in the house they have now though - they lived in a VERY TALL building that was very squished together, and I had to climb a ladder outside. I brought her ice one day but realized that she was on vacation. I should have known she would be gone, b/c in my dream it was close to Christmas. I remember thinking how I'd wait a number of days before I went back. Then next time I went back, I climbed up the HUGE ladder to the tip top of the building... with the ice in hand..... and knocked on the door (still standing on the ladder). no answer. she still wasn't home. Well it was really scary this high up - holding ice and all, so I just decided to drop the ice. No one was below me..... So I let it go. Remember how I said it was squished? Well the ice ricocheted off each and every balcony on the way down...oops.

Baby Harmon

I had a dream last night that I delievered Julie and Adam's baby. We were in the delivery room and NO ONE was there but family and friends.... no doctors or nurses. So, I checked on Julie and Baby Harmon was well on his/ her way so it was up to me. I just reached down and pulled on the head and BAM! They had a kid!!

Leia's Dress

I had a dream that I was trying on Leia's dress for the ball. It's a beautiful dress that scoops really low in the front and is nearly backless. In my dream it just was NOT looking right on me... so I decided not to wear it.

Water, a Warehouse, and Feathers

I was floating on a river in the mountains. Floating without a tube or canoe... just me floating in the water. I know I was with people, but I don't remember who they were. I remember coming up on a tunnel in the rocks; it was very small and scary looking, and I tried to avoid going in the tunnel but the water was too strong. I eventually went through the tunnel and surprisingly I didn't get stuck! I had no idea where the tunnel would take me, and I was so scared that no one would ever find me. On the other side of the tunnel, I saw our campsite and Julie! Yay! I wasn't lost! She was throwing litter into another tunnel, so I thought I would too (what??! I don't litter!). As soon as I threw my trash into water, mom came up behind me and saw Julie's trash and scolded me.

I was shopping for my plates and bowls in a dinnerware warehouse. It was awesome. They had tons of pieces that weren't offered in the store. My pink plates came in square and had matching little square dishes for butter (the size of Andes mints). I wanted it all! But then I remember seeing someone in the store and being very afraid so I left.

I also had a dream that it was time for Liz's bachelorette party and it was AWFUL! Only one person bought her lingerie, and it wasn't even me or Stacey! - the hostesses! Instead, I gave her a bathing suit that was black and red. I had sewn boa-type feathers all along the edges of the swimsuit. I also had cut out the number 16 in the seat of the swimsuit and outlined it with feathers too. Weird. I remember Crystal was there, but she had to leave early to catch a train to the airport.

Department of Progression

Last night I dreamt that I was in a mall-type building, but there lots of games as if it were also a circus or a fair. I couldn't find my way out. I kept going through different doors and kept ending up in the very same spot... where these kids were riding on a train-like vehicle- sort of like Donkey Kong mining cart. It was very dark- dark browns, black, dark reds. Anyway, I went through door after door with not improvement. Finally, I asked for help. Someone told me to go see the Department of Progression (??) so I went there. It was very bright, like a hospital. I saw a set of double doors with frosted windows that said Department of Progression, but I decided not to go in. I saw an escalator which sparked my memory so I took it down, and I ended up on top of the building. A little while later I was in water. I was floating, but I think I was holding a beaded sparkly purse. I needed to swim to the edge of the water so I could step out, but I was too late.... I was going over a waterfall! I fell and fell - making sure to not let go of the purse. I remember seeing myself being thrown reeeeeally deep underwater once I landed. I swam to the top, and I saw Cathy Allen there. She just frowned at me.

Gymnastics & Shopping

I was back at the YMCA, but this time I was teaching gymnastics. I saw Ms. Diana and showed her my wedding ring. She was very happy for me. I remember that I was teaching some girls how to vault, but the vault was in a very weird position. I didn't think it was weird in my dream. Ms. Diana also wanted me and Shelly to go shopping for her. We went to this HUGE mall and the first store we come to is displaying a bunch of dresses. They are all black, and a sales woman tells us that she must get them all ready for the big sale where they all sell for ten dollars (!). We bypass the dresses, and I head for the perfume. There is a Chanel perfume that I wanted to buy called "Lust"... don't know where the name came from... anway. In my dream, I could tell that I had shopped for this before, and the woman behind the Chanel counter was getting antsy for me to finally buy it. I spritz some on again, but tell her I'm just not ready to commit. Shelly is trying on some lotion, but apparently she wasn't supposed to; they want to CHARGE us for her dollop of lotion! We decide that we don't want to pay and we run to the door! We're criminals!

Then in another dream Shelly and I are at a party in the halls of Central High School. It's like one of the frat parties where if you have a drink in a cup the cop won't care what it is. Shelly and I are sitting on the floor, in a corner with some of our friends. We are both drinking beer but we're clearly over the 21 age limit so we don't think we're in any risk of trouble, but the cop gets mad at us for not having it in a beer can!! He kind of looks like Jerome, a security guard at Central. We point out some people doing bad drugs down the way and he doesn't care about them.... then I woke up. Hope we didn't get into real trouble.

A pool party and 16 hours of sleep!

I was at a pool party, but I didn't bring my bathing suit. I had on a really cute outfit - dark jeans and super cute yellow top. I was trying to tip toe in the water without getting my pants wet. I was tiptoeing around and talking about how when Josh builds us our house we're going to have a pool just like that one PLUS a water fall and swim up eating area..... haha. Then Leia came up pulled me into the water. She had on a super cute yellow top too. I remember looking at my matching bright yellow nail polish and it was peeling off in the water.

I had another dream that I went to bed at midnight one night and thought that I woke up at 9am the next day. Rested well and ready to study. I was talking to Stacey and she informed me that it was really 6:30pm!!! AHH! I had slept for the entire day... I needed to study that day! Stacey told me that she slept for 17 hours straight and that I would never outsleep her.

I also dreamt that I saw Pete Yorn and Beck in concert together and it was awesome.

I also dreamt that I was eating a peppermint and it fell out of my mouth and onto the ground.

Awful movie!

I was in class and we were watching a movie like the blair witch project. It was black and white with a red border all around. It was just as jumpy as the blair witch project, and it was nearly making me sick. I asked the teacher to calm it down- hold it steady (as if they could.... its a movie!), but the teacher was able to calm it down for a bit, but then it went back to being bumpy again. It was extrememly annoying.

Goose and Country music

I was taking care of Crytal's yorkie - Goose. He loves me so much, and I would call his name and he would come runnign at me!

I was also helping this young country/ pop singer make her debut album. Her mom was being super pushy - telling her what she should or should not include on her album. She wanted her to sing "Don't Rock the Jukebox" by Alan Jackson, but she wanted to sing "Jukebox Junky" by Ken Mellons. I like both songs so I started to sing "Don't rock the jukebox". Her mom thought it was daughter who was singing and said "See, she sings that so well - she needs to put that on the album... We want her to sing songs that will make money, not just the ones that are her fave songs." Well then I was upset because 1- It was ME that was singing it well, not her daughter. and 2- She doesn't need to be so money hungry! She should let her daughter sing her favorite songs!

Flying

I dreamt that I was flying. It wasn't that I was mechanically able to fly on my own, but I didn't have a parachute or anything like that- just a couple of little strings behind me... who knows where they came from or went to. I only knew when I pulled on them I'd change directions. I'd go way up high and then come right back down. I was bopping up and down in the air when I saw that my neighbor down the street was going on a hot air ballon ride. They were just taking off, so I bopped on over to say hello/ goodbye. I ended up getting tangled in the hot air balloon, and it took me up in the air with it. I was going higher and higher and getting very scared. Everyone on the ground was so tiny. I finally freed myself, but then my flying strings didn't work!! I fell from WAY up there! and I landed with a thud. I stood up feeling dizzy, my chest was hurting badly. I spit up blood and decided that I was not ok. I needed to go sit down. I knew that Shelly was remodeling a house, so I walked over there. She had all kinds of colors of paint on the walls. It was beautiful!

More lost diamonds

Another dream where 3 more popped out. I sure hope this isn't some sort of foreshadowing.

I had a dream that I wanted to be class rep again. We did a class vote, and I won. I remember that as soon as I won, I wanted out of the job. I woke up in a panic thinking that I had this new responsibility on me.....then I realized that it was a dream. whew!

Bloody Nose & Mini-Van

I had a dream that I had a bloody nose. It was weird. Josh and I were just hanging out in the kitchen and blood started dripping out of my nose.

I had another dream that Stacey and I were transporting things. I don't remember any details. I just know that we were in charge of a bunch of packages. I think there was a mini-van involved....

There was a terrible storm this night. crazy lightening & thunder & hail. maybe thats why I don't remember much...

Murder She Wrote

Bekah Stacey and I were hiding out in this little shack of a house. We had just murdered someone, and we thought that hiding out would be the best thing to do. I didn't see the murder or even the person that we murdered, but it was one of those things that I just KNEW that's what we had done. Anyway, so we decided to get into bed and pull the covers up to our faces and pretend like we were asleep.... this would indicate that we had in fact not murdered anyone. It seemed like a good plan. Until the door bell rang. There was a parade going down the street outside our front door, so we just played it cool.... staying asleep.... and hoping that whoever was at the door was just a result of the parade. Nope. Turns out this person was sweeping our front porch and accidentally rang the door bell. So he didn't care that we didn't come answer the door, he just kept on sweeping. Then during one swoop, he hit the front door with the broomstick and the front door swung open. I guess he thought he could just come in, so he did! By this point Bekah had gotten out of bed, and Stacey and I knew she was going to go beat this guy up - he shouldn't have come into our house! but no.... Bekah was getting up to pet her dog. She just kept on petting him until the man left again. After he left we decided that we weren't being safe enough... I mean we had just murdered someone. So we decided to change clothes and hide our others. Bekah didn't want to, so she didn't. Stacey put her clothes in a pillow case in the next room over. She looked up at me and said "I hide everything in my pillowcases".... So now it was my turn to hide my stuff. I went to the closet in the guest bedroom and saw a bunch of army jackets. I went to put my stuff on the shelf above all the jackets when all of the sudden Josh was there. He told me to put it in the pocket of one of the jackets. So I did, and then he went away. Then Stacey, Bekah, and I got back in bed and pulled the covers over our face again, hoping this time no one would intrude. The doorbell rang again, and I was scared.

Lost a Diamond

I had a dream that 3 of the small diamonds popped out of my ring. At first it was only 2, but then I pulled on another one and it popped out too!!! AHHH

Floating party & Epcot center

I was at an awesome party, and everyone was dressed up in crazy colorful dresses. The ceiling was really really really tall (as if we were in the lobby of the hotel) and everyone was floating! I wouldn't say flying, because we didn't really have any control of our movement, but we were definitely floating. It didn't last very long though. Then I was at Suz's new house, waiting on Suzanne to come home. I hopped in the shower, it was a very cool shower with all glass walls and dark tile floor. So then Suz came home and came into the shower to tell me that I had to leave. Her and John were late for a scrapbooking workshop, and we all had to leave now! We ran outside and there were TONS of people everywhere. John and Suzanne went one way, and I want another. As I was almost home as I saw John and Suzanne walking up the same driveway. It looked a bit like the entrance to Epcot center. We could have walked together the whole time! silly us.

VET SCHOOL LADY!!!

Stacey and I were shopping a sample sale in New York. We were in search of shoes! The shoes were all on very tall racks like when Dillard's puts their shoes out on clearance. It was so funny though, because ALL the shoes we kept trying on were from 1990... the braided dyed leather sandles... you know the type. So Stacey was trying on some black ones with red, yellow and white dyed straps... very ugly. I told her so, and then suggested she tried on some red white and blue ones. We thought they were glorious. I didn't find any that I wanted, so I started replacing the rejects onto the racks. I dropped one pair (with huge white clunky heals) on the ground. Stacey and I just laughed and laughed. Some lady looked at us and said "you're just a couple of airheads aren't you?" and oooooooooh we got so mad!! I followed her around thru the store, through a bunch of yellow shirts, one had butterflies on it - like one that I bought last year... anyway, so I came up to her and said "we are in vet school" and she said "oh, middle school! that's great!" so I screamed at her "VET SCHOOL!!!" oh she burned me up

2nd place animal troubles

I was in a contest. A drawing contest. I guess I didn't have any paper, because I was drawing on the palm of my hand. There was a circular fountain with two spewing fountains. There were shadows of what looked like people hanging out in the fountain. Now that I think about it... I think it was some sort of rendition of the beginning of a "Friends" episode. Turns out- I won 2nd place in the contest, but not a result of the drawing but because I was Jennifer Aniston.
The drawing on my hand ended up getting washed away, because I had to go pick up a dog who was having urinary troubles. I stood in the front entrace of the house and watched the dog for a bit. The poor thing was peeing blood, so it was up to me to literally pick him up and take him in for a work up. The only problem was, I was already carrying Tini over my left shoulder. When I bent down to pick up the dog, Tini jumped off and ran away. I looked up from where she ran away and looked out into the backyard..... it was a mess! The back deck was filled with junk; lots of rusty bicycles and gardening tools. Disgusting.

Scary Boxes & The PERFECT Wedding!

Josh and I were in an ooooooold mansion, and there were TONS of old boxes everywhere. I had no idea what was in the boxes, and I was a little too scared to find out. The more I looked around the mansion the more I realized that Josh and I were the only ones there.... we were frightened. We opted to leave the mansion and never go back, but before we could leave we had to pass by the gates and guards. There were cars in front of us leaving (where did they come from?) and the guard looked unhappy that anyone was leaving at all. As we pulled our car closer to the guards' station, we noticed that blood was being splashed/ sprayed all over the windshields of the cars. It was so freaky, but we didn't think much of it and kept going. Well just as it was our turn to pass by and finally get out of there, we were sucked up into a wooden box!! I remember the box turning on an axis, and I could see the sky turning and turing away from us. The flaps of the box were slowly coming down on us to seal the box closed. I think we weren't going to get to leave the mansion..... and I think I know what was in the other boxes.

Josh and I were getting married!!!!!!!!! How fun!!! Everything was exactly the same... nothing was changed, except for a few extra guests, Tasheena Allen and one of my moms old friends. It was perfect all over again. :)

a Fro, a Dad, a Tornado, a Microscope

I was chasing a black lady thru a library. She was that really cute girl from American Idol that has a fro. I remember searching for her amid lots of people in cubicles. I had a team of people beind me chasing as well. It was like we were the CSI people.

In another dream Dad and I were standing in an aisle and I can't remember what he said, but I got upset. So I walked away and went to sit down by mom. Dad walked over to us, and he was yelling at mom telling her it was over. He sat down leaving one seat in between us. He said to me "you just walked away without looking," but I had no reply.

Then I was back at the house packign things up. I looked out of the window and saw a tornado. There were 4 different kinds of tornados, actually and they were different colors. Two tan, one green and one dark brown. It was as if I were in a house or on a plane above the tornados watching them. The tornadoes were lined up all in a row (like AT&T bars). They would all touch down and pick back up. The brown one was really scary and dusty and whatevery I was in the house or plane was moving around and spinning and at one point I thought we were going to crash into the dark brown tornado, but I never did. It was really cool.

Then I remember a microscope. I think I was looking at cytology trying to ID neoplasia.

Job applicant & a Tornado with Lemon, please

I was applying for a job - can't remember where. There was a HUGE black man who was interviewing me (I think it may have been Biggie Smalls!), but I could tell that he really wasn't interested in my resume. I didn't have what he was looking for or whatever, and he kept on giving the same speech about how I'd fit in better somewhere else - blah blah blah... so I just stared up at the ceiling fan. It was purple with a short shag carpet look, and rather than hanging from the middle of the ceiling, like ALL fans, it jutted out of the top portion of the wall (almost to the ceiling). Also, instead of having 5 blades like a normal fan, it had 2 and a half. I don't even know why the half was there. So then I started paying attention again.... he was Biggie was saying something along the lines of "I need someone who can solve problems" so I said "You want someone with all the answers." He said "Yeah," but then I said ...."what about hiring someone who may not have ALL the answers, but rather someone who knows just where to FIND them?" ......... he thought about that. and said "you know, thats a great point....someone to find the answers" And he hired me.

In the next dream I remember a TERRIBLE tornado heading our way. I was in a yellow house with white trim- all wood- and the wood was creaking SOOOO bad. I think we thought the floor was going to fall through. There was a small group of us at first, but then Shelly and Julie called and wanted to come over too. Mary Kay had already been at my house, but she was back in her bedroom doing something. Rachel from "Friends" was there too. COOL! so I asked everyone to help move all of the wedding gifts from out of the storage room so we could make room for us in there. I remembering packing up a bunch of tiny porcelain crayons (nude colored.... all nude)- I put them in the cabinet so they would be safe (porcelain crayons!??!!) so just as we were finishing clearing out the storage room, Mary Kay comes out of the hallway all decked out as if she was about to go out... we asked... and she said she wanted to go out with a smile. Ok then. So she leaves, and we all cram into this little storage room, Julie is the last to come in and she has a tray of glasses full of lemonade- what a proper hostess. We sip our lemonade and wait for the tornado to come.

If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself

Dad was supposed to be buying me a plane ticket for a trip I was taking. The day I was supposed to leave, I called him to ask where it was and he instructed me to check my email- I guess he had the ticket emailed to me. So I finally found it in my inbox, but I couldn't print it off... I figured I could do that at the airport so I just gave up. Shelly was in charge of packing me for a trip. I guess I never double checked what she packed, because when we get to where we were going... I had no clothes!!! Well I had clothes, but it really was only 1 OLD t-shirt and 2 SUPER OLD pairs of cut off jeans. She did remember to pack 3 different colored ribbons for my hair..... b/c I wear those so often (NO!). I remember being so irate and swearing never to go on a trip again. Guess if I had bought my own ticket and packed my own suitcase, I would've been fine.

Rockstar

I had a dream that my band had just finished touring, and we were about to announce the debut of our new album. When I went to check out the artwork for the cover, my name wasn't on there!! They had kicked me out. My band was broken up. :(

2 deaths and a train

I was at some random house with my Medlock Maddness family. I assume the house belonged to someone in my family. Everyone was the exact same age, except for Matt- he was 4 again,and very mischievous! He was running all over the and VERY close to the train that ran very close to the back of the house (so close you could touch it without leaning over). We saw Mitchell on the other side of the house try to catch him, but he ran away, and actually towards me and Julie. I motioned to Julie to catch him, and she did!! But then she couldn't scold him for being naughty, because Linda didn't want her to dicipline Matt. Then I remember telling Sue Anne that I needed a check for Meredith's _____. I don't remember what it was, pictures perhaps? I had my envelope all addressed and stamped and was waiting on the check when my mom told me she already paid for it. So I put it away, and then Meredith put her drawings away. I folded up the miniature table she had been workin on and pushed the single steel led into the ground and the table was gone. The top of the table acted like a rug when pushed into place.

I was at an apartment... but it looked like a house. It had two pools and lots of rooms and tons of windows, backed up to the lake and was beautiful. But my friends told me it was an apartment; I believed, them because when I looked at our neighbors, they were apartment buildings! Anyway, we were coming together to perform a ritual. We had a friend who passed away wearing a bridesmaids dress and we all wanted to see her one last time. Each one of us wore a lanyard with a piece of paper in a plastic pouch. There was writing on one side, but the other was blank. When we said our words of the ritual, one by one her picture would show up on the blank side of someones paper. We all were crying and reminiscing. My picture showed her and another girl in the room hugging. After, I remember looking around the room and seeing lots of hunted game on the wall, along with lots of green colors.

I also had a dream that my Great Grandma Gee died, but my mother didn't tell me. My mom told me she didn't want to upset me.................... I cried and cried and cried. I think in real life too.

Honduras and Oil

Mom, dad, and I were going to Honduras, so I was really excited to finally get to go. I know that in real life the landing in Tegucigalpa is a bit of a rush because the landing strip is so short, but in my dream it was so wild. It was as if we went from 35,000 feet to 800 in one second. THEN- two planes were coming at us from the side and one was coming at us from the front end! I was so scared we were going to crash. As we were coming closer and closer to the runway, it looked like we were going to land on the highway! I think we even hit a truck!
So I assume we landed just fine, because then we were hauling a bunch of stuff (coolers, food, cheese puffs, suitcases etc...) into a log cabin. It reminded me of going to Sue Anne's lake house in Hand Cove.

In another dream, Stacey Craig and I were driving through the hills of Northwest Arkansas. We saw a train crossing a bridge that ran perpendicular to the interstate we were on. It looked like the train was carrying huge black bins. I asked Stacey what the bins were, and she said "Well if you knew how big oil was in Missouri, then you'd know what that is."

strange vacation

Josh and I were at some beach resort, and we were swimming in the beautiful pool. Josh realized that he left something in the room and went to retrieve it. As soon as he left, some old man came up to me and started hitting on me. I asked him to please leave me alone, but he was very persistant. So I knew what I had to do. I vomited..... all over the pool!! It was so gross. Hamburgers, lettuce, I think maybe a tennis shoe! crazy stuff. The fat lifeguard just looked at me and rolled her eyes.... I guess she thought the old man was cute or something. So I left the pool.
Then all of the sudden it was morning. I was getting out of bed, but Josh was still sleeping, so of course I walked around in the dark. I went to the bathroom and was going to take a shower but it was still dark. There were 3 huge lamps in the bathroom, but I picked this wimpy teeny tiny lamp with a red light bulb. I switched it on, and noticed a new box of bar soap had been opened.... a box? ..... I think there were probably 50 bars in there! Why did we bring that with us to the beach?? Anyway.... thats not what I thought was so weird. I remember seeing 3 bars of soap in the shower, all Josh's... but I remember thinking it was so weird that he only had 3 open- I guess it was normal to have more than 3 open at a time..... whatever.

Float Trip

I was supposed to catch a train in the next town, but I was running a little late. As I was headed to the next city, I was crawling along side the train so I knew I was going to miss it. I was a little bit ahead of it, but I still didn't think I could beat it. I don't know why I was crawling, but I was.... on all 4s. As I was crawling (rather quickly) I noticed a police car pulling out behind me, so I knew for sure I was going to miss the train. It didn't dawn on me that since I was crawling, there was no way I could be breaking any sort of speed limit! I was relieved when he flew right by me.

I don't know if this 2nd part was still part of that dream, or if it was a completely different dream.... but I was on a river. There were a bunch of people there. I remember riding on some friends shoulders as if to play in a chicken fight. Some other people were 3 high for a chicken fight. . . I was on top Collins' shoulders and we swam/walked/canoed down the river, but I was wanting down because I saw how shallow the water was getting and the little pebbles on the river bed looked like they could be painful if I fell from above. We made it through the shallow part and all of the sudden, the flow was picking up speed! It was fun, we were all floating on the rapids and then WHOA, there were two big tunnel but we made it through! On this side of the tunnel the river was lined with trees with very elaborate branches that were drooping down into the water. Hanging from one of the trees was a gorilla! But it was half man/ half gorilla, and it was VERY SCARY! The man-gorilla jumped down into the water, and I jumped into the tree and started breaking off little branches to throw at him. I suppose the man gorilla ran away, becauseI jumped down into the water and began floating in the rapids like before. There were a TON of people with me. We were all floating along happily, until we saw a HUGE group of people just a head of us getting gready to take a group picture. The river rapid was so swift and we could not stop in time and we all crahsed into the big group!

Then I was shopping in this cute little boutique, and I was looking for new Burts Bees lip balm. All the little boutique had was Burts Bees shampoo. So I decided to go for the new ipod. I don't really like the ear phones that come with the ipod, so I was going to get some new ones. The only ear phones that they had were green (tolerable) and attached to house shoes. HOUSE SHOES! Why would anyone attach ear phones to house shoes? They were on sale..... so I bought them.

Power Outage

Crystal and I had gone out partying the night before, so getting up in the morning was really hard. I managed to pull myself out of bed and went to the bathroom to start getting ready, but everything was dark. I couldn't get any of the light switches to work, so I pulled out my mirror and turned its little light on (I assume it was battery operated) and went to work putting my hair-do together. Imagine a Reba McEntire haircut, but dirty blonde, very layered, and minus all the hairspray and you've got a picture of the kind of hair cut I had. I fluffed it up and went to tell Crystal about the power outage, but I noticed her ceiling fan was still working.... so strange! She informed me that the lights were out, because I failed to turn something off and it eventually ran the power down. Well I just didn't believe that was the problem, so I ran over to the window to look out on her back yard, and to my surprise.... There was snow EVERYWHERE!! It was so heavy, so it must have weighed down the power lines! Then I noticed another surprise.... MY CAR! Or "my car" in my dream...a Jeep Grand Cherokee, which isn't really what I drive. Anyway, I guess I decided to skip the driveway and park in the back yard right under a tree. I must have skidded to a stop b/c there were very deep tracks in the snow. I noticed that the tree protected my car from the snow, which was fortunate because I had a test that day and needed to be able to drive......................... then I woke up............ TEST TODAY! WHAT TIME IS IT??? whew... 6:00am.

New Mexico

My former youth minister, Steven, was now working for Razorbacks for Christ and recruited me to work on a project. He wanted me to go to New Mexico to check things out and report back. I don't remember much, but I do remember sitting in a very space-age looking food court, all white and glass with a bubble dome and rounded white plastic chairs. I walked over to a yellow and green tri-fold bulletin board, science fair style, read it up and down. I knew I needed to report back, but I didn't want to check into it that far. So I didn't do anything.

Time for a Vacation

Josh and I were going on vacation, somewhere, anywhere.... but we had to drive through "Perkins," and it was quite a town, with a "Welcome to Perkins" sign like what you might find in Vegas. As we drove down the highway, we saw that the interstate was decorated with ALL kinds of things.... an ice-skating rink, a put-put-course, Christmas lights... lots of things. All these things were along the walls of the highway- just for decoration, not threaded along the highway as a service to the people... weird. Anyway, so we get to where we're going and Josh asks me to run in and buy a bus ticket. So I do, and I run quickly b/c I see the bus waiting. When I get to the window, he sells me an apple and tells me to buy my bus ticket when I get on the bus. As we arrive at the bus, she YELLS at us (and gives us an awfully terrible face) and lets us know we should have bought the ticket before we got to Perkins. In my mind (in the dream) I was thinking... we'll, Lady, I tried that, but everyone kept telling me to buy it on the bus. I convince her to let us ride anyway, maybe I gave her my apple, and then we reach our hotel. I call my mother to ask if we can borrow her hotel frequent staying card (do they have those??) and she says no. Cause my name isn't Rita. So we pay with our credit card and start to ride up the elevator. At this point we're both carrying beach bags, mine is pink and his is brown, and he wants to do an experiment to see if he can leave it downstairs and not have it stolen. I didn't want to play that game so I brought mine with me. I was really nervous b/c his wallet was in there, and I just knew that I saw someone glaring at us using one of those convex mirrors for traffic. But, no worries. The bag was still there.


I also dreamt that I was watching a pro golf tournament. After it was over, the cheerleaders ran out and performed. They had amazing stunts and everything was all in motion, running with the stuts, trading flyers by doing the splits... very cool. I video taped it all, but when I went to show my mother the video, I had accidentally rewound it all the way back to the beginning, and we watched John Daly hit long drive. We had to say farewell, because mom and I were going on vacation. We told day goodbye, and rode off on our snow mobile. We rode to the top of the hill, and I asked if we could stop so I could readjust... I was falling off. She hollered back at dad "Tell your mother hi!"

For the first, but the weirdest dream of the night so I saved it for last, is the weird cow dream. I was working in a barn, and I saw a cow calving! It was so.... gross... but cool so I stepped back to watch. As I stepped back, I saw a bigger picture. I saw something else all slimey in the corner. I walk over to it and its a HUMAN! Like a adult size, but it was just born! And this cow was licking her, so the cow was clearly the mama. Ok, so I know the chromosomes don't match up, so this can't really happen, but in my dream I wasn't really baffled by that. What REALLY freaked me out, was that the human had given birth to another baby! (human of course). In my dream, I couldn't figure out how this adult-born thing could give birth.... So wow. so weird!

no crib for his head - no seat in church

Josh and I were pregnant and decided to go to walmart to buy some things; diapers, wipes, rash cream..... but not a crib! Josh didn't want me to buy a crib for our baby. I asked where the baby would sleep and he said said "right in between us," and there was no changing his mind. Then I saw my dad at walmart. Turns out he was trying to help us by buying groceries from a list I had made. To our misfortune, the list was from the week before, but I didn't have the heart to tell him so. Needless to say, we ended up with double of everything.

Josh and I also decided to try a new church. But for some reason, we were riding to church separately, and I got there before him. I went in and tried to sit with my cousin, Julie, but she was sitting with some old Razorbacks for Christ friends (who were pregnant) so I had to find another place to sit. Everywhere I looked there were NO empty seats. The seats were paired off into 2's anyway and separated by what looked like a car console, so even if there was one empty seat there was ususally an umbrella, a sweater, or a person in the other! So finally I found a pair of seats and sat down.
Well, I didn't save Josh's seat with anything, so an old man came and took it! UGH! So then I found some folding chairs and pulled them up at the back at the room and sat down after placing my purse (it was HUGE) in Josh's seat. I sent him a text to let him know the church I chose.
Across from me, there were 3 old ladies and they asked if I was Lindy O'Neal. The Lindy O'Neal associated with Josh. I was completely weirded out, but then I thought... well maybe they went to Jefferson Baptist (our former church) and remembered me from there (one said yes, she did go to Jefferson Baptist). Anyway, one lady introduced me to two others: Jeanie and Gladys- I wrote their names down on my program so I could remember, but then I didn't remember the nice lady who introduced me. I was really really thirsty (in real life too) so the nice no-name lady led me to the cafe outside and I got some water and some pastries from the pastry bar. After I sat back down, Josh showed up and I shared the water with him. Then he shared the water with some teenager next to him and that guy drank it all. Dry.

highschool mystery mission

The ceiling and walls of Central High were painted just like the Sistine Chapel, except with a more modern motif. The reason I was back at school is because I was looking for something specific, who knows what. So I was searching all over Ms. Schlesinger's room and the officers came to escort me out, but after I explained exactly why I was there they allowed me to stay. I wrote her a note to say hello, but she had so many notes already on her desk I didn't know where to put it. They were all colors- yellow, hot pink, really pretty. So I taped it to the front of her computer screen. I called her "Slesh" for some reason. So anyway, I had to go up to Ms. Easter's room, still on the mission. I found all kinds of colored boom boxes and then left the building. I don't really know if that's what I was looking for....

Spotlight

I was back on El Dorado. Everyone lived where they used to, but for some reason I was staying in Ashley's house. Josh picked me up at 5am. He wanted to play spotlight, but we only had these wimpy little flashlights that you get a wal-mart when you're going to camp for a week (the yellow or teal or pink ones). But we played until 8am. Then it was time for me to go to cheerleading 2-a-days. So I went, and told everyone about our spotlight game.

iHome iProblem

My iHome has a button that has been sticking lately and it's kind of annoying. I dreamt last night that my warranty was still good, and I mailed it in and got a new one back. But when I woke up to my iHome alarm going off, the button was still sticking. Bummer.

Thelma and Louise take on the Atlantic

Stacey and I were up to no good- Thelma and Louise style. We were on a cruise ship and, and I don't exactly know what our intentions were, but we were both wearing black hoodies and sneaking around like we were asking for trouble. My heart was racing in real life, so I do believe this was more than a game of hide-and-seek but we didn't have any weapons, so I don't think we wanted to hurt anyone.
